On July 6th 2017, the International Training and Development Center (ITC) – Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry – held an orientation for students of Internship Program in Israel 2017. The meeting was held with the desire to help students have the necessary knowledge when living, studying and working abroad. Attending the meeting was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao – Director of ITC; MA. Nguyen Thi Mai Thu – Vice Director of ITC, Coordinator of the Internship Program in Israel, senior staffs of ITC, students of Internship Program in Israel 2016 and all students of Internship Program in Israel 2017.
In 2016, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) sent more than 100 students to participate the internship program in Israel. All the students have now completed the intership program and returned to Vietnam safely. During more than 10-months-internship at Arava International Center for Agriculture Training (AICAT), students completed the program excellently and and gave a good impression to the agriculturists – farmer as well as the AICAT. Because of good impression, AICAT Center has set more targets for this year Program. In 2017, the TUAF will send more than 150 students to participate the internship at AICAT Center and Agrostudies Center, Israel.
At the orientation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao, a person who has a lot of experiences in studying and working abroad, shared useful tips and advices to students. She told many interesting and profound stories which is a message to students about how to behave, respect the culture and law in the country where they live. She also said that students should always pay attention to learning not only from the Jews but also from other students. Then they will accumulate more knowledge, good experience which will be useful for their future.
A lot of students of Internship Program in Israel 2016 also took part in the orientation. They brought the enthusiasm and desire to share many useful things for students of this year Internship Program in Israel. With over 10 months of internship in Israel, they brought valuable experiences that will help the next-generation of Internship Program in Israel to have a solid spiritual preparation before going to Israel.
Ha Van Huong, a student of Internship Program in Israel 2016, shared a lot of funny and interesting stories that he himself has experienced. Through this, students are instructed that they must identify clear their goals before going to Israel so that they can achieve the goals during their internship in Israel.
Thu Huong and Thi Huong shared many things to students not only skills in dealing with Israeli citizens but also the customs and habits of Thai workers who are working in Israel and other international students. Thu Huong and Thi Huong also emphasized that solidarity is the most important factor to help students overcome difficulties in learning and working.
Nguyen Trung Tuan also shared the difficulties of the housing problem that he himself experienced when studying in Israel. He also provided the solution for students to visualize the situations that will happen in Israel. He also advised that students should live in harmony, openness and sincerity with the Thai workers in farm. Students should treat them as family members. Because they will accompany you during your studying and working time in Israel. Thai people are very friendly and always help others, so try to share the simple joys with them everyday. It will help you to be closer and closer to them.
At the orientation, the students of Internship Program in Israel 2016 listened and answered the questions from students of this year internship program.
During the time the students, who have just returned from Israel, shared the stories and experiences that they themselves have experienced in Israel. We, who made this program, were very touched and burst into tears in the sense of happiness. We are extremely proud to see our students matured both in their thinking and behaving. They gave all their enthusiasm of youth to the new students this year program.
The orientation ended successfully. Students had more useful information to prepare for the internship in Israel. All the students are eagerly waiting for the plane ticket to take off to the new land. Wish all students to achieve their goals and learn more about the country and people of Israel.
