With the characteristics of being located in the area where many students from mountainous provinces are studying, most of them are not eligible for economics in international and joint programs. To solve economic problems for students, since 2017, the International Training and Development Center, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry has actively connected with educational institutions, organizations, units, and businesses. in countries with developed agriculture such as: USA, Japan, Israel, Denmark…. to implement a special University program, with many attractive disciplines to meet the needs of society (Plant Protection, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, High-tech agriculture…)

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao, Director of the International Training and Development Center, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, said: This is a high-quality formal training program with internships with international wages. at a cost of only about 9 million / year. Joining the Special University Program, besides the regular study program, students will receive free training in two languages with foreigners, English and Japanese, comprehensively develop their thinking and skills. work internationally.

For intensive and effective training, the Center pays special attention to the quality of admission admission, such as: high school graduates, hard-working, with good sense; not infected with hepatitis B or tuberculosis, priority is given to poor students overcoming difficulties. Funding to complete procedures to practice abroad under special university program ranges from 20-40 million VND. Students with particularly difficult, conscious and hardworking circumstances may be considered for a loan in advance from the school or the Advance Loan Center, which will be repaid after 3-4 months of internship. Internships depend on the program the student chooses, usually lasting from 6 to 12 months. The internship abroad will be included in career internship, apprenticeship and graduate internship credits, so it does not affect study plans.

 Accordingly, students will have the option to practice internships with wages in developed countries in the world: Israel, Japan, the US, Australia, Denmark, Taiwan, Japan, Norway, Germany … at least 2 times with accumulated income of 200-300 million VND. After completing the internship, 100% of the students will be granted an international internship certificate, connected with graduate jobs and supported to find scholarships for graduate study. This is a favorable condition for students to access and compete with good job opportunities, high income not only in domestic companies but also in foreign companies.

 Each year, the International Training and Development Center sends more than 500 students to internships abroad. The quality of the Center’s students and training quality are always highly appreciated by international partners. We will have a long-term association with Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry to continue bringing Special University students to Japan to practice on safe vegetable production. We hope that they will learn a lot of Japanese production techniques, bring them into use in Vietnam, to produce safe vegetables, fruits and vegetables for better living and building. Vietnam’s agriculture is increasingly modern and sustainable.

Student Dieu Chinh Tuan, majoring in K50 High-Tech Agriculture, is currently an internship in Israel, sharing: Through the Special University program, I have been able to experience international life and working environment. Learn and practice directly in closed high-tech agricultural models from building net houses, planting, tending, harvesting and implementing the standards for food packaging and preservation before export. import to overseas After returning home, I will use the money accumulated during my internship and apply my learned knowledge to build a clean, safe agricultural farm in my own homeland Thai Nguyen.

From the batches of students returning to paid internships abroad, the students are more mature, confident, good at foreign languages, and have skills to work in an international environment. The Special University program is one of the solutions contributing to improving the quality of education, diversifying training methods to meet the needs of society in the current integration era.
