On July 6th 2017, the International Training and Development Center (ITC) – Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry – held a meeting with students who just returned from Israel – Program 2016. The meeting was held with the desire to listen to the students share about their 10 months- internship in Israel. Attending the meeting was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao – Director of ITC; MA. Nguyen Thi Mai Thu – Vice Director of ITC, Coordinator of the Internship Program in Israel, senior staffs of ITC and all students of the Internship Program in Israel 2016.
After more than 10 months of internship in Israel, over 100 students have returned to Vietnam healthy, cheerful and hopeful. ITC was very excited because most of the students gave the positive feelings about the internship in Israel – Program 2016.
Le Luong Toan said: “This internship program has helped me a lot. I have more self-esteem and much more bravery. The knowledge I learned was not only in the books but also in the farm. I also learned how to manage workers, and how to do experiments right in the field. Difficulties, in the work that I experienced, will be a solid foundation for me so that when I meet any difficulties in the future, I can overcome. The days in Israel gave me new friends both Vietnamese friends and international friends. I hope that this Internship Program will further develop to give more opportunities for students to study and work in modern settings like Israel. ”
Ha Van Huong shared, “During my internship in Israel, I learned a lot of useful things, especially the way in which the Jewish people behaved, how the Jewish people managed the workers. This is the valuable knowledge that will help me a lot in the future.”
Hoang Thi Thu Huong shared, “The first days in Israel, everything was unfamiliar to me. The weather was very hot and I could not adjust to the job. Sometimes I cried because I miss home. But after a while, I balanced my life and spent more time for learning English. I miss the days of practicing English with friends in the tomato garden, and organizing an English club to help each other study English better. In Israel, all students love, unite and support each other through the difficult times as well as sharing the happiness and sorrows. Although I have been back to my homeland for a week, but I miss Israel so much and the internship time there. To me, this is an exciting trip that I will never forget in my life. I would like to wish all of students to keep their passion as if they are in Israel, nurture and catch the dreams. I also would like to send my sincere thanks to the ITC who have assisted students during their internship in Israel. ”
Pham Thao Linh shared that “I miss my farm so much. Israel is very special in my heart. It is a desert land with hot weather but the nature is very interesting. The trips with friends in the Dead Sea, the holy city of Jerusalem, the Snow Mountain and the Red Sea… will always be a deep memory in my heart. I hope that I will have an opportunity to return to Israel in the future.”
At the meeting, many students also expressed the desire to participate the Internship Programs in USA, Australia, Germany, Japan … They would like the ITC to continue to advise, support and accompany students.
Through the sincere sharing of students, we can feel their growth. Through more than 10 months of internship in Israel, students have a lot of knowledge, skills to live and work with foreigners. Students observed and learnt from the most intelligent Jewish people in the world. Besides, each student also saved from 100 to 180 million VND. This is not a small amount because it will help students to startup in the future. We believe that this will be a useful step to help students to further their future career and succeed in life.
The meeting ended with warmth, love and young enthusiasm. The ITC will be the home for you when you return and it will accompany you on the next journey.
